Description
Bactigras
Bactigras medicated paraffin gauze dressings prevent infection while they soothe and protect the wound. They also reduce the risk of an absorbent pad from sticking to the wound. Ideal for a range of minor wounds including burns. They contain Chlorhexidine Acetate BP 0.5% for the prevention of infection.
It offers the following advantages:
– Soothes and protects the wound and allows free passage of viscous exudate
– Open-weave gauze helps maintain shape and resist fraying when dressing is cut to shape
– Effective against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including MRSA
– Antiseptic efficacy unaffected by serum and blood
For leg ulcers use only under medical advice. Seek medical advice immediately for all serious wounds and burns or if redness or discomfort occurs.
